APPRAISALS
As a courtesy Dousset Diamonds provides a professional jewelry appraisal for all GIA certified diamond engagement rings.
An appraisal ensures that in the case of damage, theft or loss your insurance company will give you an equal replacement of your item.
All our appraisals are done by a certified independent appraiser.
The appraisal is calculated using current market data and based on the diamond(s), metal and craftsmanship used in the jewelry making process. It may include the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of the gemstone(s), photograph(s), metal used, weight of metal and the craftsmanship of the item.
An appraisal gives you the best chance to receive the exact replacement. Your insurance company can use this appraisal to calculate a coverage rate for your diamond jewelry.

JEWELRY CARE
We recommend that you have your jewelry cleaned and polished regularly. You should also consider having the prongs on your diamond jewelry inspected annually. Some of these services are complimentary at Jean Dousset Diamonds.
RING SIZING / RE-SIZING
Since all our diamond jewelry is custom-made and handcrafted, we want to make sure that we have an accurate finger size before the start of the work. We would be happy to send you a calibrated ring sizer free of charge.
In the event your Jean Dousset Diamonds jewelry does not fit, we will re-size it free of charge.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We at Jean Dousset Diamonds often receive requests form persons around the globe in regards to creating a handcrafted piece of jewelry. Because of the world wide web, numerous articles and press we are grateful for the out pouring of interest in our custom-made designs. Due to security and safety in shipping we are limited as to which countries we can securely ship to and request international clients to consider traveling stateside to meet with Jean for such a special purchase.
